Blood Tests
If you are registered with the NHS App, you will be able to see your blood test results once they are uploaded by the clinician. This is the fastest way to access your results.
If you are unable to view your results via the NHS App, you can contact the surgery after 3:00pm. Our Patient Services Team can only assist with results that have already been reviewed by a doctor and marked as normal. They are not clinically trained and therefore cannot interpret results for you.
For most patients, no follow-up is needed for normal results, if you have concerns or want to discuss your test results, please book a routine appointment. For urgent or abnormal results, you will be contacted by the practice to discuss next steps.
X-Rays & Scans
Results for X-rays and scans can take up to 2 to 3 weeks before they are received at the surgery. Cervical smear results can take 2 to 6 weeks and will be communicated by letter.
The practice has a strict policy on confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the individual they concern, unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this information, or is unable to understand the results.
